The Clowns are a 3- piece covers band covering a wide range of age groups and venues.

Members: Mark Gales (vocals + Guitars) Mark has Played around the Sydney-Wollongong music scene for 15 years,has studied guitar at the Australian institute of music and has appeared in such acts as Clearway, Bluesberry Jam, T-cells and more recently Gaff the Rat. His long standing love of music and playing drive him and the band to create the sound that is "The Clowns".

Chris Orr : Bass guitar, Lead/Backing Vocals, Chris is a timeless survivor of the music profession, playing in Rock, Club and Pub bands and Duo's up and down the east coast of Australia. Since coming back to Wollongong Chris has played in some of its finest bands such as Comfort, Fifth Avenue, Govenor, Bourbon Alley, and most recently for the past eight years in Don't Say Don't. Chris now enjoys the challenge the extensive repertoire imposes upon his abilities and uses a brilliance in style and sensitivity to keep the sound fresh and driving.

Robbie Lovelace: Rob is as professional as you can get his focus and can-be -done attitude is what has made him one of the most sought after drummers in the Sydney-Wollongong area and what gives The Clowns an edge you don't often see in local bands. Rob is a full time musician and is currently putting the finishing touches on his own recording/rehearsal studio.
