Double Cross is a local
Wollongong rock covers band. The four piece group
performs a range of hits from 70's to current (Top 40).
Some bands covered includes: Three Doors Down, Collective
Soul, Screaming Jets, The Angels, AC/ DC ,Violent Femmes,
The Living End, Green Day, Billy Idol, Blink 182 and many
more.
After a six year evolution Double Cross now boasts a
great line up. With all four members keen to make every
performance their best. The line up now consists of:
LEN - LEAD VOCALS
& GUITAR
Len (founding member of Double Cross) has been performing
and playing for the best part of 20 years. He has been
the front man in a number of bands in Wollongong. Len
believes the line up he has now, to be the most committed
he has ever played with, going from strength to strength.
Len has his own style and sounds like no one else but
himself. Since forming the band he feels at home with
everything from heavy rock to ballads.
MIKE - LEAD GUITAR & BACKING VOCALS
Mike has been playing for 20 years and is no novice when
it comes to playing all the stage. He has played in a
number of bands in the U.S.A and has now joined Double
Cross. With his solid guitar playing and professional
attitude he is a showman all the way. His influences have
been The Beatles, Bryan Adams, Def Leppard, The Eagles,
Pink Floyd, Boston..... pretty much all guitar oriented
music with memorable hooks however he appreciates
everything from Abba to ZZ Top, being raised on radio and
MTV in the early 80's.
DON - BASS GUITAR
Don has been playing for the better part of 28 years.
From every style you can name he has played the lot. A
very accomplished player & teacher. He has played in
a number of original / concept and cover bands in the
Wollongong area. With his solid bass sound, he is ready
to rock.
HENRY - DRUMS & BACKING VOCALS
Henry has been playing for most of his life, starting at
the age of 15. Whether its been in an original or cover
bands he has played a wide variety of styles. After a two
year break from the music scene formerly of Syndicate he
brings a solid & groove filled drum sound to Double
Cross.
ABOUT THE BAND
Len formed Double Cross a little over six years ago after
playing in numerous rock bands none of which ever reached
the level or duration of Double Cross . They have their
own P.A. system and lights. For a good night of rock
