JOHN BROWNRIGG - IMAGINE THAT BAND

In Tribute to Lennon Beatles & the Cavern Club

LET YOUR SOUL TAKE A WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE

IMAGINE THAT covers many 1960’s & 70’s Classic hits. From BEATLES to JOHN LENNON’S solo work onto their musical influences from THE CAVERN DAYS as captured live on BBC 1.

Also the great hits from many of their peers, MANFRED MANN, COCKER, CLAPTON, ANIMALS, THEM, ROCK-BLUES-JAZZ-SOUL. The stage show is presented with stories, fun, singalong and plenty of nostalgia. With tales of times and places the music first appeared. Not an impersonation, this is a true musical tribute to LENNON BEATLES & THE CAVERN CLUB & the 1960s to 1980s.

JOHN BROWNRIGG VOCALS … John B. worked at all the ‘Merseybeat’ clubs in Liverpool UK during the late 60's and has his own brick on the Cavern Club wall of fame. He was a major part of the Australian rock boom of the late sixties and seventies. Sharing the bill with many Beatle contemporaries. Searchers, Animals, Tom Jones, Rolling Stones. John is no wannabe, John is no faker. He is the real thing baby. He is a living witness to the sixties 'rock n roll' revolution. Share the experiences, feel the spirit, re live the times. Enjoy the beat

The show is timeless as the world continues to celebrate the life of John Lennon, mourn the loss of George Harrison & Maurice Gibb. Pursue the exploits of Sir Paul McCartney & Sir Elton John. Eric Clapton is as popular as ever, Ringo is touring America. Classic Rock and soul Hits, Lennon & McCartney’s everlasting music still dominate the airwaves. IMAGINE THAT BAND’s broad audience appeal is ageless. Everyone has a good time. Everyone knows the songs. Good Times Classic Hits at it’s big band best. This is as close as it gets to having been at The Cavern club in Liverpool during Beatlemania of the 1960

WHAT THE CRITICS HAD TO SAY
S.M.H: ‘If there were an award for multi-talented, hard working, good guy entertainers they'd probably name it after John Brownrigg and hand it over in perpetuity’.
BRISBANE COURIER MAIL: "I'm way over 40 I work hard and I love it". And work hard he does and don't the audience love it too. What a showman.
MELBOURNE AGE: John is an original and still giving it like there was no tomorrow. Singer & great entertainer whose energy never stopped. The gig rocked … Imagine That.
LIVERPOOL ECHO UK: He came back, The Cavern rocked. He left for a life Downunder. Hurry back Merseyside needs you. Great show like in the good ole swingin’ sixties.
