Kim de Ville

Kim de VilleKim’s passion for singing and performing started at the age of 2 years old.  Her mother discovered her talent for singing when she was rehearsing for a gig, being a singer and performer herself.  It was a Whitney Houston song, and halfway through the song, she forgot the lyrics and stopped to try and remember it.

Kimberley playing with her toys nearby, as usual, continued singing the songs lyrics to the very end.  Her mother stood there stunned because she sang it perfectly in tune and with clear diction. It was then that her mother realized Kimberley had something special, a gift that she had passed down to her daughter.

From then on, Kimberleys mother gave her other songs to sing and after a long search, she enrolled her in ballet and tap classes that accommodated toddlers.  At the age of 4, Kimberley won her first talent quest at a local event, competing against adults!

During her school years, Kimberley continued with her singing and dancing, competing in local eisteddfods, talent quests, musicals, busking to raise money for her favourite charities, basically, anything and anywhere that had a stage.  It was then that Kimberley’s mother enrolled her into a Sydney talent agency and performing arts school, Brent Street, attending classes every weekend for two years.

During her primary and high school years, Kimberley was involved with Southern Stars, Schools Spectacular, school musicals, performing for local members of parliament and during her senior high school years attended and graduated from the Talent Development Project.

Kim de VilleKim has been involved with XFactor, getting up to the 5 seat challenge at boot camp and has had a few tv performing experiences, has collaborated on a few overseas projects involving releasing vocal tracks for soundtracks, club mixes, music video vocal voiceovers, amongst a long list of other high profile things.  She has raised a lot of money for many charities and was recipient of the 2015 Young Volunteer Award, which she’s very proud of being able to achieve.
