Leah Cassar
Leah
has been widely acclaimed as a singer of note for quite some time
and been the female half of the Mark Johnson Duo for the past 3
years. While performing in the duo, Leah has also performed in
many shows and partnered in other duos in her own right.
With a repertoire covering Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Trisha
Yearwood, Martina McBride and Gina Jeffreys, Leah is well suited
to the Country Rock genre. January 2002 saw Leah as a finalist in
the Toyota Starmaker Contest at Tamworth. Selected from 130
hopefuls to make it to the final 20.
Leah's talents are not however confined to Country Music. Her
cabaret style performances are outstanding and well crafted.
Performing since the age of 15, in many shows including the Roy
Orbison Show and Elvis Shows, as well as a contemporary duo with
her sister known as the "Cassar Sisters" who won 6 Talent Quest
Grandfinals in one year.
A diverse range of songs enables Leah to perform in many different
environments from clubs and pubs to restaurants and concert halls.
Personality, a great vocal range and an intimate knowledge of the
entertainment industry make Leah a highly sought-after performer.
