via a modern, action packed performance that brings this
timeless music into the new millennium.
The legend of hit songs of these supergroups is still
appealing to audiences of all ages, bringing back

My 'Old Skool' Revival Band Is Like 4 BANDS IN ONE:
Creedence Clearwater Revival: Unquestionably one
of the greatest rock bands ever, Creedence Clearwater
Revival will best be remembered for their unique bayou
sound that is often referred to as 'garage band music'.
Although their music evoked the raw, gospel-tinged sound
of the rural South, CCR actually hailed from California.
CCR were undeniably the number one American rock and roll
band of their time. John Fogerty sang with a powerful,
raw-edged voice that was the Creedence sound. CREEDENCE
REVISITED add a new chapter to the legacy of CCR with
vibrant and exhilarating energy and pure rockin' spirit.
The CCR set has an amazing list of hit after hit that is
done serious justice by the players involved. "They just
want to hear the music" and CREEDENCE REVISITED delivers
just that.
Crosby,
Stills, Nash & Young when including occasional
fourth member Neil Young, are a folk rock supergroup.
They are commonly referred to by their initials CSNY and
are noted for their intricate vocal harmonies, often
tumultuous interpersonal relationships, political
activism, but mostly for their lasting influence on
modern music and culture. Crosby, Stills and Nash always
have been about keeping Young. The harmonies of David
Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash still provide a
nostalgic if increasingly gravelly and breathless
backdrop. But arguably it's Neil Young who gives the
four-man combo whatever edge it has. MY OLD SKOOL BAND
feature 'Our House' the hippie anthem Nash wrote about
his cohabitation with songstress Joni Mitchell and 'Love
the One you're with' from the inspiration of Woodstock,
amongst other great hits, closing the main set with
Young's 'Rockin' In The Free World' and choosing the
Mitchell-penned Woodstock for the one-song encore. Given
the current state of the world, the re-emergence of the
music of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young is a mixed
blessing. Whether you welcome their return or just wish
they'd shut up, there's no denying CSNY's music is at its
most relevant in tumultuous times and My Old Skool Band
do it justice.
Desperados was introduced by MY OLD SKOOL BAND
with the intent of filling the void left by the demise of
The Eagles of the 70'S & 80'S. By blending their
extraordinary vocal and musical talents, DESPERADOS
faithfully aim to reproduce the essence of the sound that
is the Eagles. So join us on a trip down a dark desert
highway, feel the cool wind in your hair, and experience
the Grammy Award winning sounds that defined a
generation. Each concert presents an exciting, showcase
of The Eagles mega-hits such as "Take it Easy" "Heartache
Tonight" and "Hotel California". The group also performs
selected titles from the solo works of Don Henley, Glen
Frey, and Joe Walsh.
The Band for about six years, from 1968 through
1975, the Band was one of the most popular and
influential rock groups in the world, their music
embraced by critics (and, to a somewhat lesser degree,
the public) as seriously as the music of the Beatles and
the Rolling Stones. Their albums were analyzed and
reviewed as intensely as any records by their one-time
employer and sometime mentor Bob Dylan. Music From Big
Pink, which featured a painting by Bob Dylan on its
cover, began selling -- slowly at first and then better
-- and the group played a few select shows. A second
album, simply titled The Band, was every bit as good as
the first. Dominated by Robertson's writing, it was
released in September of 1969, and with it, the group's
reputation exploded; moreover, they began their climb out
of the shadow of Bob Dylan with songwriting of their own
that was every bit a match for anything he was releasing
at the time. A pair of songs, "Up on Cripple Creek" and
"The Night They Drove Ol' Dixie Down," captured the
public imagination, the former getting them onto The Ed
Sullivan Show in an appearance that's fascinating to
watch on the official Ed Sullivan video release; the host
comes out to embrace and congratulate them, obviously
thrilled after the psychedelic and hard rock acts that he
usually booked, to see a group whose words and music he
understood. Meanwhile, "The Night They Drove Ol' Dixie
Down" became a popular radio track and yielded a hit
cover version in the guise of an unaccountably corrupted
rendition by Joan Baez (in which, for reasons that only
Baez may be able to explain, Robert E. Lee is transformed
into a steamboat) that made the Top Five.
