singing all of Bassey's greatest hits. The show boasts an
eight or ten piece orchestra and an opening act. Indulge
yourself, if you are a Shirley Bassey fan, you will love
the show.
"Does Bassey know about this girl" was the question asked
of former Wentworthville Entertainment Manager Norm
Faber
"Brunies dynamic and soulful voice and the overall
presentation of the show was faithful to a Chequer's
1960's style nightclub show, which included a Bassey
style 12 piece orchestra and the obligatory
comedian/compare.
The
results were outstanding and the highlight of the show
was the incredible repertoire of Bassey hits performed so
powerfully by Brunie Riley.
A huge ovation welcomed her finale. This was the third
time I had booked the show and the first time I had ever
seen a crowd queue to ask for a return
performance".
