SHORT & HORNY is a band of very experienced musicians who play a great variety of music for jazz festivals, balls, weddings, parties, pub and club venues etc. their music includes some of the following styles and examples:

DIXIELAND & TRADITIONAL JAZZ SWING Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong.

ROCK & ROLL Elvis Presley, Bill Haley, Johnny O'Keefe, The Champs, Van Morrison, The Blues Brothers.

LATIN Cha-Chas, Sambas, Beguines.

THE NEW AMERICAN SWING CRAZE Songs by Cherry Poppin Daddies, Big Bad Voodoo Daddies, Swingerhead, Royal Crown Revue, Brian Setzer to name just a few.

The present line-up of the band is:

Bob Read, Vocals, Trumpet And Flugel Horn
Phil Swain, Trombone And Vocals
Dennis Lynch, Bass
Dave McClymont, Piano

The band released their first CD entitled "Short & Horny". Due to popular demand a second CD has just been released - "That's What Daddy Wants"
