The trio will perform a full night of Jazz and easy
listening, yet with their amazing versatility and
experience can also bring the house down rocking till all
hours of the night with cabaret to top 40 covers from the
50's to now!
From the most intimate of shows, lobby bars, restaurants,
cruises, to the high energy of a corporate function, club
event – you will be continually amazed at the
versatility of each member.
Some of SPANKS recent performances include Singapore NYE,
Sydney West Tigers 2007 Pre Launch party alongside Alex
Lloyd, regular performances with Tiffani Wood from
Bardot, performance alongside Marcia Hines, Star City
Casino and countless Corporate Functions and weddings in
Sydney and along the coast.
Fronting SPANK is singing sensation, vocalist
‘Kyra’. She is a vocalist in high demand as she
is slowly being discovered as one of Australia’s
most unique performers. Audiences cannot help but be
drawn to her genuine warmth and amazing vocal ability.
Every note sung is a reflection of her passion for music
and entertaining. The versatility and emotion of
Kyra’s voice never goes unnoticed. From the softest
of ballads, performance of jazz & blues to the most
powerful of show and rock tunes. Kyra is
captivating………..
On lead guitar - Tim Dutton. Classical, jazz, fusion,
rock, easy listening, acoustic, electric...he is
definitely one of the masters. His guitar skills will
capture any audience. He is a trained jazz and classical
guitarist, yet still holds a rawness and creativity that
not every guitarist possesses. Having toured the US,
Australia and Asia with many acts, and instructing on
GuitarTricks.com, Tim is also a session guitarist
recording on over 50 albums and hundreds of studio
projects in the last several years - most recently
producing and performing with Swannee for the NBL Hawks
promotional song for 2007. Tim is also a studio engineer
and producer which allows SPANKs duo/trio backing music
to give a "big band" sound.
Alongside Kyra on vocals and rhythm guitar - Nick Jones.
With a voice beyond his years, this young, charismatic
and dynamic performer is the latest edition to SPANK. He
will captivate you with his powerful chart topping
ballads and have you dancing all night to his rock
performances. Nick has been performing live for the last
couple of years as a solo act, and is currently working
on his EP or original music - this voice is world class!
He has now joined forces with Tim and Kyra to complete
the amazing performance dynamics that SPANK is today.
SPANK is one of Wollongong/Sydney's best musical
discoveries. They will play to suit your venue and event.
SPANK can
