Jaybee's Entertainment

Who is "Swing Town"? We are a guitar, bass and drums trio with lots of great vocals. On occasions, we can add saxophone and/or keyboards as required.

Why are we called "Swing Town" - Because we play SWING! (and lots of it). And Jazz and vintage rock. (Don't ask for heavy metal or punk - we might become violent!)

"Swing Town" exists because we ENJOY our music. Our philosophy is "if it stops being fun, we stop playing!" -and the audience never wants us to stop.

This hot little trio's repertoire swings, rocks and jams with the best of them. Chris McRobert playing a double bass (older than most of the crowd) lays a solid foundation, complemented by Warren Schofield on drums. Together the beat of this driving little engine room really pushes guitarist Ron Volcich to his swinging and jumping best.

Forget the free steak knives, these guys also give you a great range of smooth, swinging or growling vocals to enhance the great music on classics ranging from Tuxedo Junction through Caravan; Fly me to the Moon; Route 66; Jump, Jive and Wail; Choo Choo Ch'boogie and Shake, Rattle and Roll to name but a few. It's all great toe tapping, audience involving stuff!
