Vic Price Profile.
Vic was born and raised in Wollongong, NSW. At 17 he began his musical career. Like many budding young musicians, he learned his craft playing late 60's commercial rock music. He was first a singer and then a bass guitarist. Vic played with various bands, always trying to improve his musicianship and talents. He was introduced to many types of music.....heavy and 50's to 70's rock, jazz, folk, blues and country. By this time he was also playing guitar and keyboards.

Blessed with a strong voice and a musical ear, Vic has always endeavoured to learn as wide a variety as songs as possible in order to show his versatility and his ability to appeal to many different types of audience. Whether playing as a one-man show or in a two-piece or larger band, Vic has earned the reputation of an entertainer who can perform a variety of songs and play many requests.

In 1982 Vic became a member of Australasian Performing Rights Association after releasing his debut single, which included one of his own (numerous) compositions. Vic has appeared on television as a vocalist and also as an actor. His credits include shows such as 'Sweet & Sour' and 'Five Mile Creek'.

Over the years Vic has also acquired the expertise in Cabaret Shows, Poker Machine Promotions, Trivia and Bingo. His latest achievement is the release of his new CD, “Moment In The Sun”, with 8 of the 12 songs being his own compositions.

Ron Wiggins Profile.
Ron was born in country NSW and has lived in the IIlawarra since 1974. “ When I was a kid, my father loved music. He was a shearer, and when he was home he would always have the record player going. Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darrin, Tex Morton, Ray Price, (to name a few) He had an acoustic guitar and would sit there learning Slim Dusty songs. He showed me a few chords, and that got me started.”

In 1983 Ron joined his first band playing guitar in a Latin style pop band. Since that date he has been hooked on performing. “I love performing to live crowds and usually when I have a good time, the audience has a good time”

Ron has played in various outfits, bands, duo’s and solos, and has developed into an accomplished singer and guitarist. His early influences were The Eagles, Santana, The Doobie Brothers and Dire Straights. “I think as a singer and musician, you can’t be too polarised in what you learn from. Singing and playing different styles, apart from being enjoyable, let you develop in ways that wouldn’t happen if you were a one trick pony”

Ron believes that the type of music played ant any venue, should match the expectations of the audience. “All Venues are different, and after a while you get to know what people like to hear” Improvement is one of Ron’s tenants. “I believe that you should never stop learning. I usually spend 20 hrs a week learning new things, or going over and improving things I already know”

Ron has a recording studio where he composes and records original songs. The studio uses a lot of technology and is equipped with drums, bass, guitars, banjo, fiddle, dobro, and piano. “My studio has developed over the past couple of years. I guess it’s my space to work on my craft.”

Ron loves travelling, going places and perfoming. “I’ll be playing music, learning new things and getting out and about, and enjoying myself for some time to come yet”
